Overview
Our Jerusalem Old City, Mt. Zion, and Room of the Last Supper Tour was created for those travelers interested in a later start time, and a comprehensive tour of the famous Old City, covering the main Christian sites including the famous “Room of the Last Supper”. The Jerusalem tour starts with a view of the Holy City from Mount Scopus. After taking in the view, descend the outlook point and drive past the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of All Nations en route to the Old City. The tour will continue on foot throughout the Old City of Jerusalem, starting in the Jewish Quarter, exploring the Byzantine-era Cardo, and the market shops before heading to the Western Wall, also called the Kotel – a sacred and religious site for Jews. Continue on to see the Via Dolorosa including the Stations of the Cross that note the points where Jesus was as he carried his cross to Calvary. The Via Dolorosa also referred to as the Way of Sorrows directs towards the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Christian Quarter. Explore the inside of the church which houses many ornate shrines, treasures and items important to Christians. Exiting the Old City the tour will stop at the Mount Zion site of the Room of the Last Supper, the famous site where Jesus broke bread with his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion. Our Jerusalem Old City, Mt. Zion, and Room of the Last Supper Tour is available on Wednesdays only and is one of the best ways to explore highlights of Jerusalem in a meaningful and informative way.
